Meet our team of dedicated oral health advocates who are committed to improving the lives of children around the world. Our expertise as Dental Hygienists, combined with a passion for helping others, ensures your support will go the distance to meet the needs of children in each area we visit.
Laura Crawford, MHS, RDH, PHDHP, Doctoral Candidate
Laura’s first dental mission was in 2011 to Managua, Nicaragua. There, she fell in love with the cause and knew it would become a part of her life forever. Since then, Laura has served multiple times each year at various locations in Pennsylvania and five more times internationally.
She is a 2011 and 2013 graduate from Pennsylvania College of Technology (PCT), a 2017 graduate from Lock Haven University (LHU), and a 2027 doctoral candidate from American College of Education (ACE). Her career includes dental hygiene in private and public settings, adjunct instructor, and public health data analysis contractor.
Although she is busy in the field oral health, her family is her world. With three children of her own, Laura loves snuggles and endless adventures with her favorite people. In March 2026, her 11yr old, Anna, will be joining her in the Dominican Republic on a pediatric dental mission, and is beyond excited to share the joy of giving.
Karlee Sebasovich, MHS, BSDH, RDH
Karlee’s passion for serving others began in 2017 during her first international mission trip to the Dominican Republic. Since then, she returned six times and has also served in various outreach efforts throughout Pennsylvania. In 2025, she helped expand this mission work through a pilot trip to Peru, continuing her commitment to increasing access to dental care in underserved communities.
She is a registered dental hygienist with a strong passion for global outreach and sustainable oral health care. She graduated from Pennsylvania College of Technology (PCT) in May of 2018 with an Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene, and was awarded the Clark J. Hollister award in recognition of he dedication, clinical skills, and excellence in dental health education and disease prevention throughout the program. She also completed her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from PCT in 2018. In 2021, Karlee earned he Master of Health Science degree at Lock Haven University.
Karlee is honored to be a part of HOME with the OWLs and is excited to help bring sustainable oral health care to communities that have not previously had access. Outside of dentistry and mission work, she enjoys spending time on her farm with her husband and their animals.
Megan Coetzee, MHS, BSDH, RDH
Megan’s passion for serving others began in 2018 during her first international mission trip to the Dominican Republic. Encouraged by her college mentor, Karlee Sebasovich, Megan was inspired to step outside of her comfort zone and experience mission dentistry for the first time. That initial trip quickly tugged at her heart and revealed what she considers her true calling—helping provide oral health care to communities in need. Since then, Megan has returned every year, continuing her commitment to serving underserved populations and expanding access to dental care.
Megan is a registered dental hygienist with a strong passion for global outreach and improving oral health. She graduated from Pennsylvania College of Technology in 2018 with an Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene and returned to complete her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2019. She later earned her Master of Health Science in Healthcare Administration from Louisiana State University in 2023.
Throughout her career, Megan has practiced dental hygiene in multiple states, including New York, Virginia, and Tennessee, gaining valuable experience working with diverse patient populations and cultures. These experiences have further strengthened her dedication to oral health education, prevention, and compassionate patient care.
Megan is honored to be part of mission work that brings dental care to communities with limited access. Outside of dentistry and outreach efforts, Megan recently got married, purchased her first home, and is a proud dog mom to three. When she is not working, she enjoys traveling and adventuring with her husband and family.
